Foaga convention is an annual gathering of believers in Jesus Christ for the purpose of fellowship, spiritual training, education and overall enrichment. The Convention held in September on Labor Day weekends in various cities but primarily Johnson City, Tennessee for now, brings together a wide cross section of people such as veteran gospel recording artists, singer and songwriters, producers, Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, and Christian media personnel with the common objective of ministry effectiveness.
The convention is also attended by lovers of African gospel music in general and it is the ideal place to network, share experience, and acquire knowledge and ideas on how to become effective in ministry and remain relevant as scripture mandates in John 15:5, 8 “bear much fruit” which relates to growth and productivity. As children of the Most High, we are expected to be productive in serving our Heavenly Father with continued spiritual growth.
Registration is offered year-round; however, registration must be completed by August 25th of each year to reserve a space.
